  • Euro rates through 2015

    02 December 2015

The year of 2015 has been extremely volatile for the sterling - euro currency pair exchange rates. At the start of the year, in January, one Pound was worth just over 1.27 Euros - 14 cents lower than now as we head into the last month of the year.

Latest Rates

The table above shows mid-market rates for major currencies against the Pound.

Do bear in mind that when buying any currency you will always achieve slightly below the mid-market rate, while if you are selling a currency back to sterling, you will always obtain a rate slightly above the mid-market rate.

Banks usually offer a rate up to 4% different to the mid-market rate, but you can usually find a rate much closer than that by using a currency broker for your currency transaction. If you would like a quote, fill in your details at the top of the page and we will put you in touch with an FSA-regulated specialist, without any cost or obligation.
